Leigh & Co. Events is a fast-growing wedding planning company specializing in wedding design, wedding coordination, and full-service planning for engaged couples. We are seeking enthusiastic Assistant Planner Interns to join our team for the 2026 wedding season and beyond. This position is an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in becoming professional wedding planners and growing into future Lead Planner roles. Training is provided, and interns will gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced planners at real weddings and events.
The Assistant Wedding Planner Intern will provide on-site support during weddings and special events, assisting the Lead Planner with event execution, client service, vendor coordination, and wedding day logistics. This role is ideal for individuals who are organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about the wedding industry.
Responsibilities
  • Assist Lead Planners with wedding day and event execution.
  • Help set up ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception spaces according to event plans.
  • Support wedding timelines and ensure scheduled activities stay on track.
  • Welcome and assist vendors during arrival, setup, and breakdown.
  • Assist with wedding party organization and coordination.
  • Provide guest assistance and answer questions throughout the event.
  • Manage dรฉcor placement and oversee event details as directed.
  • Help troubleshoot minor issues and support last-minute changes.
  • Assist with event breakdown and packing of dรฉcor, gifts, and personal items.
  • Represent Leigh & Co. Events professionally at all times.
