Job Summary:

The Events Intern will work closely with the Events Coordinator and the Hospitality Department to support the planning, coordination, and execution of events. This internship provides hands-on experience in organizing and overseeing events from initial concept through post-event follow-up. The intern will gain practical knowledge of event operations, logistics, communication, and cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with event planning and coordination.
  • Support event setup, service, breakdown, and clean-up.
  • Provide on-site support to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Apply standard operating procedures (SOPs) during event planning and execution.
  • Assist with post-event reports and evaluations.
  • Draft and manage event-related communications.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, documents, and background materials.
  • Collect and organize materials for meetings and events.
  • Collaborate with Hospitality, Marketing, and Creative teams.
  • Participate in team meetings and support departmental projects as assigned.

Job Qualifications:    General Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s) required     

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
