About the Job

The Event Consultant serves as a primary point of contact for clients renting event products and services. This role guides clients through the rental process, recommends products based on their event needs, and ensures order details are complete and accurate. Working closely with Sales, Operations, and Event Directors, the Event Consultant helps keep client communication, payments, product availability, and event updates on track from the initial inquiry through event completion.


What You’ll Do

  • Respond to client inquiries by phone, email, and in person 
  • Schedule and conduct showroom appointments to review event needs and rental options      
  • Recommend products for weddings, corporate events, parties, and other special      occasions 
  • Prepare and update rental quotes and orders in Bright’s reservation system 
  • Explain pricing, availability, payment requirements, and product options to clients 
  • Track client orders, payments, signatures, and event deadlines 
  • Communicate order details and changes with Sales, Operations, and Event Directors 
  • Resolve product availability issues, order discrepancies, and client questions in a timely manner 
  • Support last-minute updates and changing event needs while maintaining accurate records 
  • Follow established sales and order procedures to support a smooth client experience 


What You Bring

Required

  • Experience in customer service, sales, event coordination, hospitality, or a related client-facing role 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, orders, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong organization and attention to detail 
  • Comfort using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Zoom, and other computer-based systems 
  • Ability to learn Bright’s rental and reservation systems 
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with Sales and Operations teams 
  • Availability to work weekends and adjust schedules based on client and business needs 
  • Ability to reliably commute to the Torrance location
