Equipment Engineer Join a leading wireless technology team in a fast-paced role focused on supporting network growth, in-building coverage, and venue deployments. This Equipment Engineer position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can manage technology, capital, and equipment logistics while keeping projects on schedule and within budget. Equipment Engineer Details Location: Rolling Meadows, IL Work Setup: Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days remote) Targeted Experience: 3-5 years Equipment Engineer Responsibilities
  • Support the in-building team on DAS and venue projects
  • Manage equipment engineering logistics, including ordering, receipt, and acceptance
  • Create material requests and forecast future equipment needs based on project start dates
  • Track components and monitor equipment expenditures to ensure budget alignment
  • Prepare purchase orders and coordinate vendor payments
  • Drive equipment procurement and optimization efforts for network deployment plans
  • Ensure compliance with wireless industry standards, practices, and equipment specifications
  • Partner closely with team members through strong project management and communication
Equipment Engineer Qualifications
  • Required: 3-5 years of relevant experience in wireless technologies, wireless networks, or network design
