SUMMARY: Learn and gain an understanding of equipment and fabrication engineering and equipment support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Track and report daily quantities for labor and materials
  • Provide technical engineering information and interpretation of plans, detail sheets and specifications for equipment repairs and fabrication projects
  • Enforce quality control
  • Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with contract
  • Ensure work complies with plans and specifications
  • Track vendor and subcontractor progress
  • Perform schedule updates
  • Equipment document control and filing, both hard copy amp; digital
  • Prepare daily reports and photo logs
  • Maintain equipment repair amp; job costing
  • Assist Equipment Engineer, Port Engineer amp; Fabrication Foreman with “as built drawings.”
  • Perform field measurements to provide shop drawings
