Our client, Bloom Energy, a leader in advanced manufacturing technology, is seeking a Senior Equipment Engineering Technician to join their dedicated team. As a Senior Equipment Engineering Technician, you will be an integral part of the Equipment Engineering department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization."BEJOBS"

Job Title: Senior Equipment Engineering Technician

Location: Fremont, CA

Pay Range: $30 to $45 per hour

Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00pm-10:30pm

What's the Job?

  • Support and maintain high-speed automated manufacturing equipment across various production lines.
  • Diagnose and repair complex automated equipment, including PLC and HMI systems.
  • Participate in the commissioning of new automated systems and ensure all devices operate as designed.
  • Install, start-up, and support vision systems for tracking and quality inspections.
  • Analyze production data to identify opportunities for safety improvements, cost reductions, and quality enhancements.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 9+ years experience in a high-capacity manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Associate degree or technical certification in Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or Industrial Maintenance required.
  • Experience with automated equipment, PLC programming, and industrial control systems.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, ergonomic practices, and equipment requirement development.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
