What is the difference between Epic vs Cerner?
| Aspect | Epic | Cerner |
|---|---|---|
| Certifications | Epic certifications, vendor-specific | Cerner certifications, vendor-specific |
| Work Environment | Large healthcare systems, hospitals | Hospitals, clinics, healthcare organizations |
| Industry Usage | Widely used in North America, large institutions | Common in hospitals, healthcare providers |

While both require similar certifications and are used in hospital settings, Epic is more prevalent in large healthcare systems and offers specialized certifications. Cerner is also widely adopted across hospitals and clinics. The main difference lies in their vendor-specific platforms and implementation focus, making each suited to different healthcare organizations' needs.
