Responsible for routing patient calls to the appropriate personnel utilizing voicemail, PowerChart Office in EPIC, & paging through paging software - Outlook Paging. Verification of patient insurance/demographic information, rescheduling patients for return visits.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: One (1) year work experience in the medical front office setting; One (1) year experience with multi-phone system; Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

Working Knowledge: Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance; Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public; Ability to maintain quality control standards; Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
