Job Title: Epic OpTime / Anesthesia Analyst
Location: Houston, TX
Job Type: Contract

Position Overview
A leading hospital is seeking an experienced Epic OpTime / Anesthesia Analyst to support perioperative and anesthesia workflows within a healthcare environment. This role is responsible for the design, build, optimization, and ongoing support of Epic OpTime and Anesthesia modules, ensuring efficient surgical operations, accurate documentation, and compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, build, and maintain Epic OpTime and Anesthesia modules
  • Support operating room (OR) scheduling, case workflows, and perioperative documentation
  • Manage anesthesia records, including pre-op, intra-op, and post-op workflows
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to analyze workflow requirements and implement system enhancements
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolution
  • Support system upgrades, testing, and go-live activities
  • Ensure data integrity, system performance, and adherence to compliance standards
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including workflows and build specifications
  • Provide end-user support, training, and optimization recommendations

Required Qualifications

  • Epic OpTime and/or Anesthesia Certification (required)
  • Proven experience supporting perioperative and anesthesia workflows
  • Strong understanding of OR scheduling, surgical documentation, and anesthesia processes
  • Experience with system build, configuration, testing, and support in Epic environment
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with integrated Epic modules (e.g., ClinDoc, ASAP, Orders)
  • Prior experience in hospital or healthcare system environments
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards related to perioperative services
