A leading healthcare system is seeking an experienced EPIC Application Analyst specializing in ADT and Prelude to support and enhance patient access and patient movement workflows across the health system. This is an exciting opportunity for an Epic-certified analyst who is passionate about leveraging technology to improve patient care, operational efficiency, and user experience.

The EPIC Application Analyst will play a key role in system design, optimization, testing, implementation, go-live support, and ongoing maintenance of Epic applications related to patient access, admissions, transfers, discharges, transport, and EVS workflows.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $91,002 – $136,492 annually
  • Compensation based on experience, certifications, and internal equity


Position Overview

The EPIC Application Analyst is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of Epic ADT and Prelude applications. This individual will collaborate closely with operational leaders, IT teams, and end users to improve workflows, troubleshoot issues, optimize system functionality, and support strategic initiatives.

This is not a training-level role. Candidates must have hands-on Epic build and support experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide build, testing, implementation, and support expertise for Epic ADT and Prelude applications
  • Support workflows related to patient access, patient movement, transport, EVS, and facility structure
  • Collaborate with operational teams and IT staff on requirements gathering, design, testing, and system enhancements
  • Execute system changes following IT change management processes
  • Create test plans, document testing outcomes, and support production migrations
  • Analyze workflows and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement
  • Participate in governance meetings to present and prioritize enhancement opportunities
  • Provide go-live support for implementations and upgrades
  • Troubleshoot and resolve reported issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Coordinate vendor activities, integrations, and software or hardware implementations
  • Create and maintain workflow documentation and user support materials
  • Develop reports and dashboards as requested
  • Support downtime procedures, disaster recovery planning, and security-related initiatives


Required Experience

  • Must have been Epic OpTime certified for at least 3 years with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on OpTime build experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of Epic OpTime certification and 3 years of Epic OpTime build experience required.
  • Candidates must possess at least 3 years of Epic OpTime certification along with 3 years of direct build experience.
  • Required: 3+ years of Epic OpTime certification and hands-on build/support experience.
  • Epic OpTime certification required with a minimum of 3 years of build experience in OpTime.
  • Must have 3+ years of experience supporting and building within Epic OpTime following certification.


Certifications

  • Epic ADT Certification required
  • Epic Prelude Certification strongly preferred


Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred


Additional Preferred Experience

  • Related healthcare, clinical, or business operations experience preferred
