Job description

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. Quill & Arrow provides full training from the ground up, so as long as you are excited to learn new material, we are eager to teach.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist paralegals in drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents for state and federal court cases
  • Prepare and organize case files, pleadings, motions, and other court documents
  • Provide translation for attorneys and team members as needed
  • Assist with filing documents using appropriate court procedures and forms
  • Maintain case calendars and track deadlines to ensure timely submissions
  • Work closely with paralegals and attorneys to support workflow and communication
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, and file management.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Technology familiarity: Microsoft Office, Adobe, Slack and Google Workspace experience
  • Excellent proofreading abilities with keen attention to details.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred:
  • Knowledge of Lemon law
  • Bilingual (Spanish or other language)
  • Office experience .
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Political Science, or related field
