Job Description

Must Haves: 

Experience with contract management, experience with major software vendors (Oracle, IBM, Microsoft, etc), and experience working in a large multi-national company. 

POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

This person will support vendor contract management for the IT Vendor Management Office (VMO). These responsibilities include locating contracts, organizing contracts, identifying contract hierarchy and dependencies for each vendor, working with legal to analyze contracts, capturing and recording contract meta data, and communicating with stakeholders.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Relationship Management: 

Establish and maintain strong relationships with sourcing, legal, VMO colleagues and other applicable and global IT vendor stakeholders 

Individual Accountability: 

Learn how to navigate in contract repository solutions in order to efficiently locate and store vendor contracts 

Consolidate identified contracts in single repository leveraging consistent indexing solution 

Identify and map contract dependencies and hierarchy for each applicable vendor 

Partner with legal to identify and record contract meta data 

Manage weekly meetings and content for legal review 

Partner with VMO leadership team to review contract data 

Perform other appropriate administrative and operation research to support contract management 

Work closely with both direct and virtual global members of the VMO team 

Ensure priorities are consistent with the overall vendor management strategy 

Ensure timely completion of projects and deliverables

Qualifications

ROLE SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS: 

Moderate contract management experience 

Moderate experience with IT vendors 

Moderate knowledge of vendor management industry best practices 

EDUCATION REQUIRED 

Relevant B.S. or BA degree 

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE 

2-4 years with Bachelors or Basic Degree or 

1-2 years with Masters or other Advanced Degree
