Job description

You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER (PUBLISHING) in the Doctrine Concepts Analysis Division of NAVY WARFARE DEVELOPMENT CENTER.Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Experience managing a federal or military publishing program, including overseeing the development, dissemination, and maintenance of doctrinal, tactical, or technical publications.
  • Experience applying program management principles to direct complex publication projects, including planning, resource allocation, and execution.
  • Experience supervising personnel involved in publication development, such as technical writers, editors, or information specialists, to include assigning work and managing performance.
  • Experience demonstrating extensive knowledge of naval operations and fleet organization to ensure the accuracy and relevance of tactical publications.
  • Experience managing budgetary and contracting processes related to publication services and program support.
