Description:

Weโ€™re looking for a motivated Business Development Consultant to join our sales team. This is an entry-level role for someone whoโ€™s interested in getting into sales and wants to learn the fundamentals from the ground up.
In this position, your main focus will be outbound prospectingโ€”making calls, sending emails, and connecting with potential clients to introduce our payroll solutions. Your goal is to generate interest and book meetings for our senior sales team. You wonโ€™t be responsible for closing deals; instead, youโ€™ll play a critical role in building the top of the sales pipeline.
This role is designed as a starting point. As you build your skills and hit your goals, youโ€™ll have the opportunity to grow into a Business Development Representative (BDR) role, where youโ€™ll take on more direct sales responsibility and deeper client conversations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make a high volume of outbound calls and emails to prospective clients (100 cold calls minimum daily)
  • Identify and research companies and key decision-makers
  • Introduce our services and generate interest through clear, confident communication
  • Schedule meetings and demos for senior sales team members
  • Keep CRM records up to date with outreach and activity
  • Consistently hit weekly and monthly activity and meeting-setting goals
  • Work with the sales and marketing team to improve messaging and outreach


What Weโ€™re Looking For:

  • Interest in starting a career in sales or business development
  • Strong communication skills and comfort talking on the phone
  • Self-motivated with a positive, persistent attitude
  • Organized and able to manage follow-ups and tasks
  • Experience with CRM tools is a plus, but not required
