Job Title: Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Location: Tucson, AZ Pay: $26.92/hour Job Type: Contract-to-Hire Schedule: Monday โ€“ Thursday: 7:45 AM โ€“ 3:45 PM (30-minute lunch) Friday: 7:45 AM โ€“ 1:15 PM (early student dismissal) Total Hours: 37.5 per week Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering high-quality therapy services to students. This role plays a key part in helping students develop communication skills, including speech production, language development, and the use of assistive communication devices. Key Responsibilities Conduct speech and language screenings (without interpretation) using established protocols Implement and follow Individualized Education Program (IEP) plans and therapy protocols Provide direct support to students to improve speech, language, and communication skills Document student progress and report findings to the supervising SLP Assist during assessments, including material preparation and clerical tasks Prepare and organize therapy materials and equipment for classroom and therapy sessions Adapt instructional materials and tools based on individual student needs Maintain accurate student records, including data tracking, charts, graphs, and reports Support classroom organization and assist with educational displays and activities Qualifications Required: Associateโ€™s Degree Active Speech Language Pathology Assistant License in the State of Arizona Preferred: 1โ€“2 years of experience as an SLPA Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply Why Join Us?
