Job description

Speech Language Pathology Intern

To become a Speech Language Pathology intern in Poudre School District, you must complete the Speech Language Pathology/SLPA Intern application. This application is for placements starting in fall 2026.

To be considered for Speech Language Pathology intern placement in one of our schools, you should:

  • be entering your final semester/year of a Speech Language Pathology/Communication Disorders program
  • be able to pass a criminal background check, including submitting a complete set of fingerprints with the Colorado Department of Education/PSD
  • be enrolled in a college/university that has a signed internship agreement with PSD (see below)

Placements will be completed with the following criteria:

  • availability of qualified staff/educator(s) in requested areas
  • willingness of schools/staff to take an intern
  • outcome of internship interview between principal, lead/supervisor, and prospective intern
