Speech-Language Pathology Interns
Student SLP Intern Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to student IEPs and lesson plans assigned/created by the supervising SLP
  • Follow procedures and achieve lesson goals
  • Assign and explain home practice activities
  • Comply with all school regulations and policies at all times
  • Take attendance and document session data when appropriate
  • Ensure classroom/office and materials are kept clean and orderly

Student Intern Requirements:
  • GPS must have received information from a cooperating university.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
