Speech Language Pathologist, CFY Intern
West Texas Centers Little Lives Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) is looking for a dynamic Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or CFY Intern to provide speech language therapy services to ECI children birth to 3 years old. Position Incentives include flexible schedules and rewarding work environment. Salary: $65,000 - 80,000
The SLP/CFY Intern job duties include:
• assessing, diagnosing, treating communication and swallowing disorders in children birth to 3 years old
• have considerable knowledge of speech delays and/or communication disorders in children birth to 3 years old
• participating in initial and ongoing developmental assessments, Individual Family Services Plan (IFSP) planning and communicating with an interdisciplinary team regarding progress and changes as needed with ECI client
• traveling to child's natural environment to provide services
• engage and train parents on treatments and strategies to assist in their child's progression and development
• proficiency with computers and programs such as Excel, Word, Google Drive, and Electronic Health Records (EHR)
• clinical documentation that meets Medicaid and state requirements.
• Self-directed work, individually or with a team
Requires flexible hours, involves extensive paperwork, and will require self-directed performance. Travel and the use of a personal vehicle is required.
Position Requirements:
• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited college or university
• Valid Texas license as a Speech Language Pathologist or CFY Intern
• Previous experience in pediatric clinical and home health settings (preferred)
• Possess documentation needed to apply for a Speech Language Pathology-Intern License, if applicable
