Job description

Open position in St. Louis, MO; Portsmouth, NH; Kansas City, MO; or Columbia, MO. Hybrid work schedule: 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home.

Overview:

The Performance Media Associate (Paid Search) is an entry-level position that supports the paid search team as they learn the ins and outs of paid search advertising. This individual is responsible for owning and driving certain internal-facing tasks as directed by senior members of the team. This role reports to the Associate Director, Paid Search & Social.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

Campaign Support

  • Assist senior team members with paid search campaign development, including keyword research and ad copy development.
  • Traffic paid search campaigns across all networks as directed by senior members of the team.
  • Assist senior team members with daily budget management.
  • Present optimization recommendations for paid search campaigns to senior members of the team. Execute on approved recommendations.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build and maintain Google Data Studio reports for all paid media clients.
  • Responsible for pulling data for monthly reports for all paid media clients.

Growth & Operations

  • Attend partner and vendor calls.
  • Expected to grow understanding of paid search tactics and strategies.
  • Expected to grow understanding of client management and proactive problem-solving.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Knowledge of paid search platforms including Google Ads (Search, Display) and Microsoft Advertising (Bing) a plus. Google Ads certification is strongly encouraged.
  • Knowledge of analytics platforms including Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, and Google Tag Manager a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.
  • Previous experience at an agency or internal marketing department a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Education & Experience

  • 0โ€“2 years of experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
