Job description

As an entry-level Media Coordinator, you will be exposed to various media types and will be trained in how to properly buy, maintain, and reconcile traditional media and streaming TV with oversight from the Media Director. The Media Coordinator will support the day-to-day execution of media campaigns across traditional and streaming channels. This role is highly detail-oriented and serves as an important link between the internal client services teams, media partners and stations, and ultimately our clients.

You are kind and courteous, but you are also determined and persuasive, and that is how you make things happen.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants exposure to both the strategic and executional sides of media. They possess the ability to get work done quickly, independently, accurately, and on time!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in all aspects of media activity including invoice reconciliation, creative trafficking, campaign setup, reporting, presentation support, and general media coordination
  • Learn the day-to-day procedures and processes of managing assigned accounts
  • Become proficient in using applicable media software programs
  • Work with calculations and other quantitative data and research
  • Monitor campaign launches and troubleshoot missing creative, discrepancies, or other execution issues
  • Coordinate with internal team members and external media partners to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately and on schedule

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 0-2 years’ media buying in an advertising agency environment, preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint, a must!
  • Comfortable with basic math/accounting computation
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Acute attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Google suite, (docs, sheets, slides)
  • Demonstrated ability and comfort level working in a fast-paced environment, maintains composure under pressure
  • Skilled at multi-tasking simultaneous projects to maintain workflow and meet hard deadlines
  • Must have a sense of urgency
  • Strong critical thinking abilities
  • Must be proactive and adept at problem solving

COMPENSATION
This entry-level position offers an annual salary of $48,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Participation in company benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid vacation, wellness and more.
