Job Summary
The Junior Media Planner works with Media Planners in the development and execution of effective media plans across all channels to support client campaigns and brands. They work in the rapidly evolving media discipline and are comfortable embracing change. The Junior Media Planner helps deliver first class communications strategies that employ integrated contemporary thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in development and execution of effective media plans in all media (including all Paid channels) to support client campaigns and brands
  • Begin to seek and review and/or develop new and innovative media solutions
  • Work with other Media Planners to learn how to utilize Broadcast, Digital, and Out of Home teams as thought partners in building the overall strategy
  • Work with Media Planners to learn how to work in an integrated way with other disciplines, including brand planning, creative, account service, etc.
  • Assist with preparation of presentation recommendations internally and to clients
  • Part of the team that represents the agency as the client contact for media
  • Assist in ensuring client approved plan is executed with Broadcast, Digital, and Out of Home teams to the highest level
  • Work with Media Planner to be accountable for media budget ensuring it is reconciled on a monthly basis
  • Keep Supervisor/Director informed of client workflow and market challenges

    2. Assist with managing multiple projects through effective levels of organization and detail to meet tight deadlines
    3. Ability to learn how paid, owned and earned media intersect and ability to identify how/when to engage each discipline to enhance all communication plan efforts as needed

    5. Ability to learn online tracking and reporting technologies
    6. Highly detailed and results-oriented
    7. Self-driven with strong work ethic
