BRIMAR INDUSTRIES LLC

Garfield, NJ • On-site

Full-time

Posted 22 days ago

Job description

This is a foundational entry-level sales position designed to kick-start your career in B2B sales. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Brimar Industries, you will be on the front lines of our outbound sales efforts—engaging potential customers through phone, email, chat, and CRM outreach.

Your mission is to identify prospects, personalize outreach, and guide early-stage buyers to a sales-qualified opportunity. This is a high-activity role where you’ll connect with dozens of customers per day, uncover needs, and help them find the right Brimar solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Outbound Prospecting

  • Execute daily outbound activities targeting curated lead lists, online sign-ups, abandoned carts, and other digital engagement sources.
  • Call, email, and chat with dozens of prospects per day to introduce Brimar’s safety solutions and qualify interest.
  • Use customer cues and industry knowledge to personalize outreach in real time and add value to every interaction.

Lead & Funnel Management

  • Use HubSpot CRM to generate calling lists, enroll leads into email sequences, track outcomes, and manage follow-ups.
  • Monitor website visitor behavior and cart abandonments to proactively engage warm leads.
  • Respond to live chat inquiries and route or escalate leads as needed.

Pipeline Development

  • Nurture leads through the early buying stages, conducting discovery to understand customer needs and qualifying potential.
  • Hand off sales-ready leads to Inside Sales or Account Executives for RFQ or order closure—or, when appropriate, close smaller deals directly.

Continuous Learning & Execution

  • Maintain consistent messaging and process discipline while tailoring communications to individual customer needs.
  • Receive ongoing coaching and participate in regular training to improve product knowledge, communication skills, and sales performance.
  • Track and report on daily activity, pipeline progress, and learning goals.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or related business environments.
  • High energy, self-driven, and exited to pursue a career in sales
  • Strong phone presence and the ability to think on your feet during live conversations.
  • Excellent written communication skills, especially in email.
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn CRM systems (HubSpot preferred), email sequencing tools (like Outreach), and live chat platforms.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage many active tasks without losing focus or follow-up.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred experience with eCommerce, B2B products, or technical sales is a plus.
  • Interest in industrial safety, hardware, or compliance-driven product categories preferred.

What We Offer
  • A clear path for professional growth into Inside Sales, Account Executive, or Sales Ops roles.
  • Training and mentorship from sales leadership and direct exposure to a high-performing commercial team.
  • A collaborative, hands-on work environment where your input makes a difference.
