Having strong communication skills and a willingness to learn can help candidates succeed in starting a career in this field.

How to get started in life insurance sales?

To start a career in life insurance sales, obtain a state license by completing pre-licensing education and passing the licensing exam. Develop strong communication and sales skills, and consider gaining experience through entry-level positions or training programs offered by insurance companies.

Why do most life insurance agents quit?

Most entry-level life insurance sales agents quit due to the challenging nature of building a client base, high rejection rates, and the need for strong sales skills. The job often involves inconsistent income, ongoing training, and the pressure to meet sales targets, which can lead to burnout and turnover.
