Job description

Job Title: Experienced Hotel Housekeeper (Hotel Background Required)
Location: Walton Residence
Pay: $19.50 per hour
Schedule: Thursday – Monday | 7:00am to 3:00pm
Days Off: Tuesday & Wednesday

Position Overview:
We are seeking a high-performing, experienced Hotel Housekeeper who takes pride in their work and understands the standards of a professional hotel environment. This role requires consistency, attention to detail, and the ability to perform at a high level with minimal supervision.

This is not an entry-level position. Applicants without hotel housekeeping experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and service guest rooms to professional hotel standards
  • Maintain all public areas, including lobby, hallways, gym, and offices
  • Remove trash at the beginning and/or end of each shift
  • Ensure all areas are consistently clean, organized, and guest-ready
  • Maintain housekeeping carts and supplies in a clean and organized manner
  • Identify and report maintenance issues promptly
  • Assist with laundry and linen operations as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Previous hotel housekeeping experience REQUIRED (no exceptions)
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to stand for the full shift (with or without reasonable accommodation)
  • Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment
  • Must demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and strong work ethic

  • Only candidates with verifiable hotel housekeeping experience will be considered
  • Must provide 3 professional references (past managers or supervisors only)
  • Candidates selected for interview must arrive prepared with:

  • Unprepared candidates will not be considered for the role
  • Shifts are subject to change based on business needs; accepting this position constitutes agreement to schedule flexibility
