Hotel General Manager / Operations Manager

Manchester, Tennessee
Competitive Salary + Bonus Opportunity

Established, professionally operated hotel seeking an experienced Hotel General Manager / Operations Manager with prior Choice Hotels experience preferred. We are looking for a hands-on leader who understands hotel operations, guest satisfaction, team accountability, payroll control, and brand standards.

This is not an office-only position. The ideal candidate must be willing to lead by example, assist departments when needed, and maintain a strong presence throughout the property.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily hotel operations
  • Manage front desk, housekeeping, breakfast, and maintenance departments
  • Maintain high guest satisfaction scores and online reputation
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and QA inspections
  • Control payroll and operating expenses
  • Recruit, train, coach, and hold staff accountable
  • Monitor rates, occupancy, and revenue performance
  • Handle guest issues professionally and efficiently
  • Maintain property cleanliness, service quality, and operational consistency
  • Ensure proper scheduling and labor management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous hotel GM or AGM experience
  • Prior Choice Hotels experience strongly preferred
