The Fifth Avenue Hotel – New York, NY

The Fifth Avenue Hotel, an award-winning  luxury destination, is seeking a Social Media & Creative Manager (In-house Creative & Social Lead) to join our team.

This role requires a highly creative and driven digital native with an immersive understanding of digital culture, exceptional design sensibilities, and a genuine passion for maintaining the "flneur" spirit by translating our property's magical energy into visually compelling stories that resonate with a global audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage The Fifth’s organic social media strategy across platforms including Instagram and emerging channels to drive global brand awareness.
  • Stay deeply informed on platform trends, content formats, and digital shifts while maintaining strict luxury brand discipline.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director (CD) and Director of Marketing (DOM) to map out comprehensive content calendars in alignment with overarching brand campaigns and property programming.
  • Manage day-to-day community engagement to cultivate an active, inspired, and loyal digital audience.

Content Creation & Creative Production

  • Work dynamically on-property to capture visually compelling content that reflects the brand’s distinct aesthetic, tone, and magical energy.
  • Direct and execute on-property photography and short-form video shoots focusing on interior/exterior design (rooms, suites, lobby), F&B, lifestyle, events, and cultural programming.
  • Edit and deliver high-quality, social-first photo and video assets in a timely, agile manner.
  • Proactively identify organic, untold stories and unique moments worth capturing across the hotel.
  • Manage external creative partners, freelancers, and collaborators as needed to continually evolve and maintain the brand’s visual library.

Brand Collateral & Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Food & Beverage and property operations teams to ensure cohesive, unified storytelling across all touchpoints.
  • Support PR, influencer relations, and creator collaborations to ensure visual consistency and brand alignment.
  • Oversee, design, and create brand-aligned marketing collateral and digital assets to support property-level goals.

Reporting & Performance Stewardship

  • Monitor and analyze key organic performance metrics to compile comprehensive monthly reports.
  • Translate data into actionable strategic insights, optimization tactics, and clear roadmaps for continuous channel growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Creative Design, Communications, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 4–6 years of experience in content creation or creative brand roles, with a strong preference for luxury hospitality, high-end lifestyle, or premium luxury sectors.
  • An exceptional visual sensibility, sharp design eye, and natural storytelling instincts.
  • Deep technical understanding of social platforms, emerging trends, current content formats, and performance analytics.
  • Proven portfolio demonstrating high-quality, engaging photo and video content creation specifically tailored for social-first platforms.
  • Proficiency in creative tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and advanced mobile editing applications.
  • Comfortable managing, directing, and collaborating with freelancers, production crews, and external creatives.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and agile, with a proven ability to balance high-level creativity with concrete, property-driven results.

Work Environment

  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced on-property hotel environment, remaining deeply immersed in the daily rhythm of luxury hospitality.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to capture live cultural programming, host creators, and support 24/7 hotel operations.
  • Physically active role requiring standing, walking, and the agility to conduct extensive content captures across all areas of the property, from guest suites to back-of-house activations.

Why Join Us?

The Fifth Avenue Hotel is more than a workplace—it’s a destination where creativity, culture, and hospitality meet. As part of our award-winning team, you will play a vital role in shaping the visual canvas and digital narrative of unforgettable guest journeys in one of New York City’s most distinctive luxury hotels.
