ROLE DESCRIPTION:As a Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member with Matt Springer - State Farm Agent, you will play an important role in delivering a positive and welcoming experience for customers while beginning your career in the insurance industry. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for individuals who enjoy helping others, staying organized, and learning the fundamentals of insurance operations.
In this position, you will begin by supporting front desk responsibilities and assisting customers with questions, service requests, and general office needs. As you gain experience and build your knowledge of insurance products and processes, you will have the opportunity to transition into an Account Manager role with increased responsibility for client relationships, policy servicing, and coverage support.
This role is ideal for someone who is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and interested in growing within the insurance industry. Individuals who demonstrate initiative, strong communication skills, and a commitment to learning can expect opportunities for advancement within the agency.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Greet customers and assist with front desk responsibilities, including answering phones and directing inquiries.
  • Respond to customer questions and provide general policy information.
  • Assist customers with basic policy updates, documentation, and service requests.
  • Support the team with administrative tasks and maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
  • Learn agency systems, insurance products, and service processes.
  • Gradually take on expanded client service responsibilities as experience is gained.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Property & Casualty license preferred.
  • Previous insurance experience will also be considered in place of a license.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
