Start Your Career in Pharmaceutical Quality! VPI Compounding Pharmacy is hiring a Entry Level Quality Assistant to join our growing team. This is the perfect opportunity for a detail-oriented individual looking for a stable career in healthcare. In this role, you will support our Quality Department by helping ensure every medication we make meets strict safety standards. Key Responsibilities
What You'll Do
  • Ensure Product Safety: Perform sampling of raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet safety standards before reaching patients.
  • Verify Accuracy: Review logs, forms, and daily records to ensure all data is complete and accurate.
  • Support the Lab: Assist the team in preparing for internal inspections and audits.
  • Maintain Standards: Enter data and file reports following clear written procedures to keep the department running smoothly.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with the Pharmacy, Compounding, and Warehouse teams to support daily operations.

Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a science-related field is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience: No previous laboratory experience necessary. We are happy to train motivated candidates who have a strong attention to detail.

Physical Demands
  • Standing and walking between departments for extended periods.
  • Frequent computer and document review work.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to wear PPE (lab coat, gloves, mask) in controlled or sterile areas.
