HNM Systems

HNM Systems is the leading tech-enabled professional services provider, shaping the workforce across the telecom, energy, and technology sectors. We connect specialized talent with direct hire, contract-to-hire, and consulting opportunities that support fiber expansion, digital infrastructure, wireless networks, and smart grid energy solutions. Our innovative approach delivers high-impact outcomes, with a 94% success rate in talent placement and project execution. Relentlessly people-driven, HNM Systems sets the industry standard through exceptional employee experience and long-term client value.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

This opportunity supports a fast-growing fiber infrastructure organization focused on expanding connectivity through large-scale MDU (multi-dwelling unit) deployments. The role is part of a structured early-career development program designed to provide hands-on exposure to telecom infrastructure, property access strategy, and outreach operations. Team members gain valuable experience in stakeholder engagement, project coordination, and market expansion efforts, with a clear pathway to grow into more advanced roles. Itโ€™s an excellent entry point for individuals looking to build a career in telecom, real estate access, or infrastructure development.

Overview

The Right of Entry (ROE) Specialist plays a key role in supporting fiber network expansion by initiating early-stage outreach and securing property access permissions. This role focuses on researching properties, engaging with stakeholders, and positioning the value of fiber infrastructure to enable site surveys and project progression.

This is an entry-level, developmental role designed for individuals interested in outreach, coordination, and sales-adjacent work, with the opportunity to grow into an MDU Specialist position over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate the ROE process by researching properties and responding to attainment requests
  • Identify property ownership, managers, HOAs, and key stakeholders using internal systems and public resources
  • Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, and direct mail campaigns
  • Clearly communicate the fiber/internet value proposition and answer high-level questions from stakeholders
  • Secure permission for site surveys and support negotiation of access agreements for equipment placement
  • Maintain consistent follow-up and manage multiple outreach efforts across a large geographic area
  • Track outreach activity, responses, and agreements within CRM systems and internal tools
  • Support marketing-style outreach campaigns to increase engagement and response rates
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth handoffs and project progression
  • Escalate complex or highly engaged conversations to MDU Specialists
  • Support field outreach efforts, including occasional in-person property visits
  • Represent the organization professionally in all communications
  • Learn and apply telecom infrastructure and property access fundamentals

Required Qualifications

  • Must have Bachelor's Degree
  • Must be able to legally work in the US
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Strong communication skills (phone, email, and in-person)
  • Comfortable with consistent outbound outreach and follow-up activities
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating with a team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or Monday.com
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service, administrative support, sales support, marketing, or outreach roles
  • Exposure to telecom, construction, utilities, or real estate industries
  • Interest in developing into an MDU Specialist role

Work Environment / Additional Information

  • Entry-level, contract-based role (approximately 12-month duration) with potential for extension based on performance
  • Part of a structured early-career development program focused on outreach and infrastructure support
  • Must be able to reliably commute to Broomfield, CO and work onsite Monday through Friday
  • Role involves regular cold calling and outreach as part of lead qualification efforts
  • Focuses on early-stage outreach and qualification (no final negotiations or deal closing responsibilities)
  • Opportunity to support a growing fiber build program and gain industry experience
  • Interview process includes 2โ€“3 stages (virtual and/or in-person)
  • Hiring plan includes scaling the team based on program success
