Physicians provide a comprehensive range of primary and specialty care services at the 333-bed hospital and outpatient facilities both on and off of the Eskenazi Health downtown campus including at a network of Eskenazi Health Center sites located throughout Indianapolis.

Job Role Summary

The Cyber Security Analyst position is a results-oriented position that has day-to-day hands-on experience with all levels of access including entry level, application level and physical level.  The position will be responsible for first-level decision making on security threats and alerts that span the organization.  The position will manage day-to-day security monitoring, reviews and analyses and serve as the front-line cyber security professional evaluating the risk and exposure to the organization using various security tools, processes, procedures, and techniques.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible as the front-line cyber security professional evaluating the security risk and exposure to the organization using various security tools, processes, procedures, and techniques.  Additional essential job functions include but are not necessarily limited to:

  • Apply the processes and procedures around daily monitoring and analysis of various security alerts. including phish email alerts and endpoint security monitoring.
  • Perform first-level monitoring, analysis and response to various security alerts including phish email alerts and endpoint security monitoring.
  • Conduct analysis using the following security applications, including but not limited to: Cisco AMP/Umbrella/Firepower, Cisco ESA/SMA e-mail gateway protection/analysis/DLP, KnowBe4 Phishing Simulation, Rapid7 Vulnerability scanning.
  • Address and resolve ServiceNow tickets related to cyber security issues and concerns.
  • Support and manage the organization's Security Awareness program.
  • Provide support for internal and external audit reviews and examinations as necessary.  This may include other business units within the organization and/or external third-party groups.
  • Remain abreast of new security tools best practices and methodologies.
  • Be prepared and able to flex and assist other cyber security mission areas as necessary.
     
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/related field or 2 plus years of equivalent experience required.
  • Cyber security certifications strongly preferred or obtained within one year of employment may include but not limited to SANS certifications including GIAC and/or other technical certifications.
  • Healthcare or similar experience preferred but not necessary.
  • Strong oral and writing skills.
     
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Documentation implementer for policies, processes, and guidelines.
  • Strong understanding of best practices and security principals within the industry.
  • Project management and cross team experience.
