Job description

Established in 1981, Rainbow Restoration offers home and commercial restoration emergency services. We also provide carpet cleaning and construction services with over 400 locations worldwide. In this Administrative position, you are a key team member supporting the work of management and other staff. You are responsible for office management, clerical, receptionist, bookkeeping, and project-based work to contribute to the day-to-day operations of Rainbow Restoration. Exemplifying our code of values, you must show respect and courtesy to all customers and fellow team members.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming calls in professional and courteous manner
  • Assist with the scheduling of services
  • Clerical duty as required including mail processing, customer and job data entry
  • Notify customers of service call status and follow up with customers after the work is completed
  • Call potential customers to explain the company services and solicit business
  • Bill customers for work performed
  • Collect all monies from all sources (accounts receivables)
  • Pay vendors for services used (accounts payable)
  • Perform other duties as required. These duties may include job functions that are outside the scope of normal job duties

Job Requirements:

  • Computer literate with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and other computer software
  • Experience with QuickBooks
  • Experience in Xactware software would be helpful, but not mandatory
  • Ability to learn new computer software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong data entry skills
  • Professional appearance and personality
  • Team player who can work independently
  • Willing to train supporting team members (stewardship)
