Position

We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team in Beaverton, OR. This is an entry-level accounting position that will support a variety of accounting functions, with a primary focus on accounts payable and bank statement oversight.

Compensation: $19/hour

Job Responsibilities

  • Process and reconcile a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently

  • Process payments to multiple vendors in a timely manner

  • Communicate and collaborate with internal departments and external vendors

  • Research, identify, and resolve discrepancies

  • Verify accounting entries and reconcile balances to reports

  • Prepare and issue payments by check or wire transfer

  • Assist with additional accounting tasks and projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent accounting experience will also be considered

  • 0–3 years of accounting experience or other relevant experience

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent problem-solving and research skills

  • Highly organized and task-oriented

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

  • Dependable, self-motivated, and eager to learn
