POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Enterprise Applications, to lead the development, quality engineering, and delivery of mission-critical enterprise applications across the organization. This leader will oversee engineering teams responsible for platforms including Salesforce, NetSuite, and modern web portals.

The ideal candidate combines strong enterprise application architecture expertise with modern AI-driven engineering practices. This role will drive adoption of AI-assisted development, intelligent automation, and AI-powered quality engineering to accelerate delivery, improve developer productivity, and enhance customer experience.

This role requires a strong technology leader who can manage global teams, partner closely with product and business stakeholders, and build scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise systems that support the company’s rapid growth.

This position will be based out of one of our offices in San Francisco, CA or Santa Clara, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the engineering, QA, and delivery of enterprise applications including Salesforce, NetSuite, and modern React-based digital portals.
  • Manage and mentor a global team of developers, QA engineers, and technical leads responsible for enterprise platform delivery.
  • Drive AI-enabled software development practices, including use of AI coding assistants, automated testing, AI-powered code review, and intelligent development workflows to improve productivity and quality.
  • Define and implement enterprise application architecture standards across CRM, ERP, and digital portals.
  • Lead the design and development of scalable APIs, integrations, and microservices connecting enterprise systems.
  • Partner with product management team to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Drive modernization of enterprise platforms by leveraging cloud-native technologies, APIs, and modern web frameworks.
  • Oversee implementation and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and DevOps practices.
  • Ensure applications meet high standards for security, scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Implement AI-powered analytics and automation across enterprise platforms to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Establish development best practices, coding standards, and governance for enterprise application development.
  • Monitor delivery metrics, system performance, and engineering productivity using data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with the security and architecture teams to ensure compliance with enterprise security standards.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies including Generative AI, AI agents, low-code platforms, and intelligent automation tools that can accelerate enterprise development.
  • Prioritize and deliver iteratively in a continuously changing environment. 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise software development and engineering leadership.
  • 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams responsible for enterprise platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce platform development and architecture.
  • Experience implementing or integrating ERP platforms such as NetSuite.
  • Hands-on experience building modern web applications using React or similar frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and platforms to improve software development productivity and engineering workflows.
  • Experience managing global engineering teams and delivering complex enterprise systems.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based architectures and SaaS platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience working in solar and financial services platforms.
  • Experience building or managing customer-facing portals such as partner portals or homeowner platforms.
  • Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools in engineering workflows.
  • Experience implementing AI-powered automation, chatbots, or intelligent workflow systems within enterprise platforms.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce APIs or enterprise integration platforms.
  • Experience working with data platforms, analytics tools, and AI/ML-driven insights.
  • Experience in high-growth or startup-like environments.
  • Passion for emerging technologies, AI innovation, and digital transformation.
