This leadership position is critical to the application, recruitment and enrollment processes of prospective online learners. In addition to serving as the point-of-contact for learners in fully online programs, the Team Lead assist the manager in supervising and managing the work of a team of Enrollment Coaches. The team lead will act in a supervisory capacity, directing the work of this team in the absence of the manager. The Team Lead ensures caring learner support, including coordination of university logistics behind the scenes so that online learners have a seamless admissions, enrollment and learning experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Helps support a team of Enrollment Coaches. In coordination with the Recruitment Team Manager, will set performance goals and expectations for the team. Responsible for providing training in processes and systems, supervising daily tasks of team members, conduct team meetings, and individual coaching of team members. 30%

Acts as the first line of online recruitment efforts, recruit and engage prospective learners by responding to all incoming request (phone calls, emails, web-based interest forms, etc.) Ensure that targeted response times and accuracy guidelines are consistently met via a multichannel approach. Proactively interact with prospects at every stage of the admissions pipeline, with the goal of transforming prospective learners into qualify applicants, and quality applicants into enrolled students. 30%

Coordinate with admissions and enrollment teams to facilitate logistics for online prospects, including faculty, admissions offices, enrollment offices, individual colleges, the Grad School, Financial Aid, Student Success Coaches, and other applicable departmental support personnel. 20%

Utilizes technology systems to track the student journey, including a CRM, LMS, and other systems. Proactively manage a personal database of leads to meet enrollment goals across an offering of degree programs / student pathways. 10%

Participates in continual professional development, working to ensure high levels of customer service excellence. 5%

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience in customer service, sales, recruitment, or related.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 5 years of customer service or student support experience, 1 year of supervisory or project lead experience

Supervisory or project lead experience. Higher education or admissions experience preferred. Online learning experience preferred. Ability to connect quickly and authentically with people from a variety of different professional and cultural backgrounds.

Additional Requirements:

Operation Essential Personnel - This position may be asked to work during an official closure, but who is otherwise not required to report to the physical campus during a closure and whose absence does not present a risk to the safety, resources, and well-being of the campus per FASOP HR-01.

Additional Information

Must be willing to work nights/weekends especially during peak seasons.
