Job Summary

The Corporate recruiter functions as a talent acquisition partner working collaboratively with our hiring managers and HR to best recruit, interview, and hire great talent. The role will also include accountability for full cycle recruiting strategies to ensure great candidate experience and implementing innovative sourcing strategies and building talent pipelines for Mid to Sr level construction management roles and multiple engineering and architecture roles for construction of food & beverage process facilities. The role is also a talent sourcing specialist pro-actively sourcing and engaging passive candidates to fill our talent needs for growth and replacement.

Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end recruitment from job opening approval through candidate acceptance.
  • Conduct initial phone screens of candidates to analyze applicants’ abilities and provide recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Perform all aspects of technical recruiting ranging from identifying needs, sourcing talent, networking, interviewing, and ensuring candidates experience have a great first impression of Dennis Group.
  • Develop and implement proactive talent sourcing strategies using Indeed.com, LinkedIn Recruiter, AI, and other platforms to ensure we are getting in front of the top candidates that are passive.
  • Collaborate with hiring partners / managers to identify and maintain hiring targets and advise on total compensation packages to offer and best recruiting efforts to focus on.
  • Attend business discipline strategy meetings for recruitment activities.
  • Recruit locally and nationwide.
  • Team up with our marketing team to leverage social media, trade shows, community outreach events and job fairs, to improve our employer branding efforts.
  • Help manage our applicant tracking system.
  • Post and update job descriptions and job postings.
  • Coordinates and schedules interviews for hiring managers with qualified applicants and gathers interview feedback reviews from interviewers.
  • Proactively seek after, plan, manage and oversee all college fairs, info sessions, class presentations and other engagement opportunities surrounding building relationships with colleges and universities (faculty members, employer specialist, clubs, etc.) for internships, Co-Op, and Entry-level jobs openings.

Required Education Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
  • 4-6 years of corporate recruiting experience including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting. At least one year working at a search firm / agency is preferable.
  • 4-6 years of regular recruitment sourcing (Boolean search techniques, search strings) and online database searching techniques.
  • 3+ years of recruiting for construction management roles (traveling, mid-Sr level)
  • 2+ of recruiting for engineer roles - Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical/Process, Automation & Control, Packaging, etc.
  • 4-6 years of intake meetings and building rapport quickly and establish credibility with stakeholders, hiring managers.
  • Experience with UKG recruiting and onboarding modules a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift-up to 15 pounds at times.

Travel Requirement

  • ~10% travel required for college recruiting events, visiting other offices, and visiting project sites to recruit more effectively.
