Engagement Project Manager Jobs (NOW HIRING)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Engagement Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing district-wide employee engagement initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture. The position manages employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, communications, events, and special projects designed to enhance the employee experience, strengthen organizational culture, and support employee retention. Working collaboratively with district leaders, school administrators, teachers, support staff, and community stakeholders, the Engagement Project Manager coordinates cross-functional projects, monitors timelines and deliverables, analyzes employee engagement data and feedback, prepares reports and communications, and provides project management and operational support to advance the district's employee engagement goals and strengthen employees' connection to the district's mission and values.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required
• Master's degree preferred

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:

• Valid driver's license and availability of private transportation required
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

WORK EXPEREINCE:

• 5 years experience in employee engagement, human resources, organizational development, communications, project management, or a related field
• Experience facilitating or supporting project implementation
• Experience in K12 education or public sector preferred

• Knowledge of employee engagement, organizational culture, change management, and workforce experience principles and practices
• Knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools used to coordinate projects, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
• Knowledge of employee engagement, recognition, event planning, and organizational culture best practices
• Skill in planning, organizing, and coordinating multiple projects while meeting established deadlines
• Skill in analyzing information, solving problems, making sound decisions, and exercising good judgment
• Skill in developing professional correspondence, reports, presentations, and communication materials
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships through collaboration, teamwork, and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, demonstrate initiative, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Demonstrated cultural competence, professionalism, and ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Coordinates and implements district-wide employee engagement initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture
• Develops, administers, and evaluates employee engagement programs that enhance employee satisfaction, well-being, recognition, and connection to the district's mission and values
• Plans, coordinates, and facilitates employee recognition programs, appreciation events, service awards, and engagement activities
• Collaborates with district leaders, school administrators, departments, and other stakeholders to support employee engagement initiatives and organizational culture
• Develops and maintains communications, promotional materials, and engagement resources to increase awareness and participation in employee engagement programs and events
• Collects, analyzes, and reports employee engagement data, survey results, and participant feedback to measure program effectiveness and support continuous improvement
• Manages employee engagement projects by developing project plans, monitoring timelines, coordinating resources, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables
• Coordinates cross-functional teams, committees, and special projects that support employee engagement, organizational initiatives, and strategic priorities
• Researches best practices and recommends innovative strategies to improve employee engagement, retention, recognition, and the overall employee experience
• Required to have prompt, regular attendance in person and be available to work on-site during regular business hours and as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator or their representative

• Vision: Ability to read small print and view a computer screen for prolonged periods
• Hearing: Ability to tolerate exposure to noisy conditions
• Speech: Ability to be understood in face-to-face communications, to speak with a level of proficiency and volume to be understood over a telephone or computer
• Upper Body Mobility: Ability to use hands to grasp, and manipulate small objects; manipulate fingers, twist and bend at wrist and elbow; extend arms to reach outward and upward; use hands and arms to lift objects; turn, raise, and lower head
• Strength: Ability to lift, push, pull and/or carry objects which weigh as much as 5 or more pounds on a frequent basis. Incumbent may be required to physically restrain parties involved in a conflict
• Environmental Requirements: Ability to encounter constant work interruptions; work cooperatively with others; work independently; work indoors
• Mental Requirements: Ability to read, write, understand, interpret and apply information at a moderately complex level essential for successful job performance; math skills at a high school proficiency level; judgement and the ability to process information quickly; learn quickly and follow verbal procedures and standards; give verbal instruction; rank tasks in order of importance; copy, compare, compile and coordinate information and records.
