Job description

Job title: Project Manager / Engagement Lead
Location: Remote
Work authorization: US Citizen
Role summary

Manages the full engagement lifecycle, coordinates with OCIG, oversees deliverables, and ensures compliance with RFQ requirements, timelines, and reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage schedule, staffing, deliverables, risks, and quality.
• Coordinate activities with OCIG, agency OIGs, and other state stakeholders.
• Manage the seven RFQ deliverables and associated deadlines.
• Provide monthly progress reporting and oversee documentation.
• Coordinate training, SME support, audit-planning activities, and deliverable acceptance.
• Ensure compliance with confidentiality, security, and independence requirements.
Minimum/Preferred Qualifications:
• 5+ years supporting government audit, compliance, cybersecurity, or similar engagements.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary cybersecurity/audit teams.
• Experience communicating with senior government and C-suite stakeholders.
• PMP preferred/relevant certification.
• Government/OIG engagement experience strongly preferred.
Mandatory Certifications
• CISA, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent (RFQ requires >50% of staff certified)
Educational Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, IT, or related field.
• PMP or equivalent preferred.
