We are seeking a service driven and detail oriented Area Custodial Project Manager to support daily operations, ensure contract compliance, and strengthen client relationships throughout the Austin, TX region.
Position Summary
The Area Custodial Project Manager oversees multiple janitorial contracts, ensuring quality control, staffing effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. This role contributes to business growth by supporting RFP pricing, FRQs, and participating in pre bid meetings. The position also plays an important role in recruiting, hiring, and training custodial staff.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Contract Management
  • Oversee multiple custodial service contracts within the Austin area.
  • Ensure service delivery aligns with contractual requirements and client expectations.
  • Conduct routine site visits to review operations and identify improvements.
Quality Control
  • Implement and maintain company quality assurance standards.
  • Perform inspections, document and correct deficiencies quickly.
  • Coach staff to uphold high standards in cleanliness, safety, and professionalism.
Hiring, Training & Team Leadership
  • Participate in recruiting and hiring custodial team members for assigned accounts.
  • Conduct onboarding and ensure staff receive proper training on procedures, safety, and equipment.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, support, and performance feedback.
Client Relations
  • Act as the primary contact for all clients within the assigned portfolio.
  • Resolve concerns promptly and professionally to maintain high satisfaction.
  • Build and sustain long term client partnerships.
RFP, FRQ & Pre Bid Support
  • Assist with preparing RFP pricing, FRQs, proposals, and site assessments.
  • Attend and participate in pre bid meetings and walkthroughs.
  • Provide operational insights to support competitive, accurate proposals.
Administrative Duties
  • Manage timesheets, labor reports, inventory, supplies, and equipment.
  • Prepare routine performance, inspection, and operational reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety rules, company policies, and customer requirements.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $50,000 to $60,000
  • Commissions + Bonus Eligibility
  • Benefits package: Medical, Dental, Vision, etc... after 60 days
  • Annual contributions to your personal IRA

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of custodial, janitorial, or facility services leadership experience.
  • Strong background in multi site operations, quality control, or contract management.
  • Experience hiring, training, or supervising staff.
  • Familiarity with RFPs, bidding, or proposal processes is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel across the Austin region daily.
