Environmental Services Custodial Manager Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Sodexo is seeking an evening Environmental Services / Custodial Manager 2 at UF Health Durbin Park Hospital. This is a 99 bed acute care hospital located in St. John’s, FL.

This position will report to the Operations Manager overseeing a team of 12 housekeepers. on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. Some weekends and holidays may be required.

About the job

In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll oversee frontline environmental services teams to ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency. You’ll play a key part in scheduling, training, and supporting daily operations, helping create a safe and welcoming environment for all.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range: $56270 per year - $72820 per year

• Proven experience leading or supervising environmental services or custodial teams in a fast-paced setting.

• Technical proficiency in custodial tools, processes, and systems to support daily operations.

Requirements

• Education Requirement: High School/GED or associate’s degree or equivalent experience
