Environmental Services Custodial Manager Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Sodexo is seeking a Environmental Services/Custodial Manager 2 for our operations at Ingleside Rock Creek, an upscale continuing care retirement community, located in Washington, DC.

The ES/Custodial Manager will oversee housekeeping and laundry operations. Knowledge of general housekeeping standards and floor care knowledge. Typical shift will be 9am-6pm with some weekend coverage.

About the job

In this hands-on leadership role, you'll oversee frontline environmental services teams to ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency. You'll play a key part in scheduling, training, and supporting daily operations, helping create a safe and welcoming environment for all.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range: $61710 - $68000

Requirements

• Education Requirement: Associate's degree or equivalent experience
