Position Summary
Horizon Global Partners (HgP) is seeking an experienced Engineer (Service Desk / Endpoint Engineering) to support a Federal Government customer by designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining enterprise Windows and macOS endpoint solutions. This is an engineering role supporting complex endpoint infrastructure, not a Tier 1 help desk position.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Design, build, secure, and maintain Windows and macOS workstation images.
โ€ข Support VDI and secure remote-access configurations.
โ€ข Engineer endpoint baselines using Ivanti, KACE, Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and JAMF Pro.
โ€ข Manage OS and application patching, image version control, validation, and rollback.
โ€ข Implement device enrollment, provisioning, lifecycle, and asset management.
โ€ข Support passwordless authentication and hardware-backed credentials (YubiKey/CAC/PIV).
โ€ข Configure endpoint logging, SIEM/EDR telemetry, and forensic data collection.
โ€ข Develop runbooks, operational documentation, and knowledge transfer materials.
Required Qualifications
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
โ€ข Minimum 8 years of Information Technology, Endpoint Engineering, or Cybersecurity experience.
โ€ข Minimum 6 years performing hands-on endpoint engineering (not Tier 1 help desk support).
โ€ข Experience with Windows and macOS workstation imaging.
โ€ข Experience with Ivanti, KACE, Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and JAMF Pro.
โ€ข Experience with endpoint baselines, patch management, provisioning, and asset management.
โ€ข Experience supporting endpoint logging, SIEM/EDR, and forensic data collection.
โ€ข Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
