Job description

Our client is a well-established investment firm focused on alternative assets, with a diversified platform spanning private markets and credit strategies. Backed by an experienced leadership team, the firm continues to invest in technology to support its growth and evolving business needs.


They are seeking a Senior Endpoint Engineer to own and evolve the modern endpoint environment within a fast-growing, high-performance organization. This role is focused on engineering, automation, and optimization of our endpoint and M365 ecosystem, while serving as a senior escalation point for complex issues impacting a high-touch user base.


This role is best suited for candidates with strong experience managing and improving enterprise Microsoft endpoint environments (Intune, Azure AD, M365) who thrive in a hands-on, high-impact, fast-paced environment and are driven to enhance endpoint management, automation, and overall user experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and enhance endpoint management across Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and Azure AD
  • Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 (O365), Exchange Online, Teams, and OneDrive
  • Manage and maintain Active Directory and Azure AD environments
  • Design and deploy endpoint configuration, policies, and security controls
  • Lead application packaging and deployment via Intune or similar tools
  • Drive automation of endpoint and IT workflows (PowerShell, Power Automate, etc.)
  • Maintain patching, compliance, and backup processes across endpoints and systems
  • Partner with infrastructure and security teams to improve overall environment stability
  • Act as a senior escalation point (L3) for complex endpoint and VIP-related issues
  • Oversee mobile device management (MDM) and endpoint lifecycle processes
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors supporting network and AV systems


Qualifications

  • 4โ€“8+ years of experience in endpoint engineering, systems engineering, or advanced IT support roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager
    • Azure AD & Active Directory
    • Microsoft 365 (O365, Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive)
    • Windows OS and endpoint lifecycle management
  • Experience with Autopilot, GPOs, and endpoint provisioning
  • Solid understanding of network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP) and security best practices
  • Experience with PowerShell or other automation tools
  • Familiarity with MacOS and iOS device management
  • Experience supporting high-touch/VIP user environments
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and prioritization skills


Nice to Have

  • Financial services or similar high-performance environment experience
  • Exposure to AV technologies (Zoom, Crestron)
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field


Additional Details

  • Occasional travel to other locations may be required when necessary
  • Participation in on-call rotation for critical support and changes
