Job description

Overview

The Organizational Capability Supervisor (Coach) is responsible for developing processes and procedures that enable employees to work more efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will support improvement in operational metrics and build a culture of continuous learning and development.

Be part of the team to support a successful transition from the current M&W plant in downtown Denver to the new State-of-the-Art Facility, High Point. High Point will be equipped with the latest technology and equipment, which will provide a modern and efficient work environment. This is an exciting opportunity for Leaders who are passionate about innovation, collaborating with multiple stakeholders, and creating new ways of working.


Responsibilities
  • Assessing organizational capability needs, working with management and other stakeholders to identify areas to build capabilities. This may involve conducting needs assessments, analyzing performance metrics, and evaluating employee skills
  • Designing and delivering training programs. Partner with Subject Matter Experts to develop training content for performance-Based training and On-The-Job Training program
  • Monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness. Track the effectiveness of training programs and other capability-building initiatives to ensure they are meeting organizational needs. They may collect and analyze data, solicit feedback from participants, and make adjustments as needed
  • Promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement
  • Build a SOP project plan and establish SOP Naming Convention and SOP review process
  • Support plant retention initiatives
  • Coach instructors and leadership on best training practices
  • Manage the development and maintenance of One Point Lessons (OPLs), Clean, Inspect & Lubrication schedules (CILS), Center Lines (CLs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS), and troubleshooting guides for all departments at the end user’s level of understanding that are compliant with ISO9000 or similar standards for current Brighton and future High Point facility
  • Determine floor training strategy in prep for new hires on-the-job-training
  • Create training lesson plans
  • Create data base or leverage a document management system, to store all SOPs (as PDFs) and ensure all employees are able to access (the read only versions) via tablet or other technology
  • Work with OEMs in developing content, improving their content to enhance the effectiveness of their training
  • Ensure all training records are captured in the MyLearning system and be able to run reports to share with site leadership
  • Build and maintain the Qualification Skills for maintenance matrix
  • Other duties as assigned

Compensation and Benefits

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $66,900 - $111,950.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

  • 2+ years of learning and development experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience in learning and development
  • Must have the flexibility to work off shifts and weekends as needed
