Employee Navigator Specialist
Location: Fully Remote (Eastern or Central Time Zone Required)
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 Base Salary
About the Role
We are seeking a senior-level Employee Navigator Specialist to support and manage approximately 40-50 active groups within a fast-paced benefits environment.
This is a technical, execution-focused position. The role centers on platform accuracy, system configuration, integrations, and reporting support - not benefits strategy or advisory services.
The ideal candidate is a confident Employee Navigator operator who thrives in high-volume settings, works independently, and understands the urgency and precision required in benefits administration.
Key Responsibilities
Group Management
  • Maintain and support 40-50 active Employee Navigator groups
  • Process eligibility updates, adds/terms, renewals, and plan changes
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and maintain accurate system data
  • Ensure ongoing data integrity and operational efficiency
New Group Implementation
  • Build new employer groups end-to-end within Employee Navigator
  • Configure plans, classes, rates, eligibility structures, and workflows
  • Support onboarding and enrollment launches
ICHRA & Platform Integrations
  • Configure and support ICHRA plan structures within Employee Navigator
  • Navigate integrated systems and customized workflow environments
  • Ensure accurate data flow across platforms
ACA Reporting Support
  • Run 1094/1095 reports
  • Identify discrepancies and coordinate necessary corrections
  • Partner with internal compliance team for final oversight
Qualifications and Skills
Required
  • Advanced Employee Navigator experience (full lifecycle: build + maintenance)
  • Experience managing 40+ groups simultaneously
  • Direct ICHRA configuration knowledge
  • Platform integration experience
  • Strong familiarity with ACA reporting processes
  • Background in a brokerage, agency, or TPA environment
Preferred
  • Experience in high-volume benefits operations
  • Strong organizational skills under deadline pressure
  • Clear, direct communication style
