Position Overview

Cundy, Inc. is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Manager to support the service and retention of employee benefits clients. This position will assist with day-to-day account management, client communication, enrollment processing, and benefits administration.

This is a strong opportunity for someone with prior insurance experience who is interested in developing a career in employee benefits consulting.

Working closely with Senior Account Managers and Account Executives, the Account Manager will help provide responsive client service while building knowledge of the group benefits industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a portfolio of employee benefits clients under the direction of senior team members.

  • Respond to client and employee questions regarding benefits, eligibility, and coverage.

  • Assist with enrollments, terminations, and employee benefit changes.

  • Support the preparation, setup, and execution of open enrollment.

  • Process service requests, including ID card requests, billing questions, and basic claims-related inquiries.

  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation.

  • Use Employee Navigator for eligibility and benefits administration.

  • Track client communications, activities, and tasks in Salesforce.

  • Assist with renewal preparation, reporting, and data validation.

  • Support compliance-related communications and documentation using agency tools.

  • Coordinate with insurance carriers, vendors, and internal teams to support timely and effective service.

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of insurance experience, including individual insurance, Medicare, or a related area.

  • Basic understanding of health insurance products and terminology.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Active 2-15 Life & Health license preferred, or willingness to obtain one.

  • Experience with employee benefits, Employee Navigator, Salesforce, or similar systems is a plus.

  • Self-motivated and eager to learn and develop within the employee benefits industry.
