We are looking for Luggers (a Driver and a Navigator) who are committed to safety and are also energetic, friendly and customer-centric. To be considered for this role, you should have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations.
Junkluggers is an eco-friendly alternative to traditional junk removal with a commitment to enhance lives, the community & the environment by donating & recycling unwanted items from residential and business customers and by supporting local charities.

Qualifications:
~ Valid FL driver license
~ High school diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
~ Complete all jobs according to company standards, practices and mission statement
~ Greet customers in a friendly and respectful manner, and explain our service and junk removal plan
~ Process payments and, where possible, upsell additional junk items
~ Safely load, transport, and unload customer items in accordance with state and local laws
~ Assist in training new hires as part of a team
~ Attend all mandatory training, meeting & events
~ Help maintain trucks and equipment
~ Be diligent about safety and promote a safety culture at the The Junkluggers
~ Embrace continuous improvement & implement new practices when asked
~ Support recruiting of new team members and promote company values Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
Competencies
~ Excellent interpersonal & communication skills are a must – this is a customer-facing role
~ Ability to learn and use technology in the field to execute job requirements, quickly & efficiently
~ Learn skills of both Navigator and Driver positions
~ Develop general understanding of resource locations in current territory (donation, recycling & disposal centers) and use them efficiently
~ Develop general understanding of truck operation, maintenance, and care

Job Requirements
~ Position can be full or part time, but must be able to work in full-day increments including some Saturdays
~ Obtain & maintain valid FL driver license (CDL NOT required) and an acceptable motor vehicle record
~ Supply own mobile phone (company will provide tablets for on-the-job duties)
~ Pass background check & drug screen Ability to lift 75 lbs.
