The Employee Experience Program Manager is a strategic and hands-on role to design, implement, and scale programs that enhance employee engagement, culture, and the overall employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding. This role is responsible for driving a connected, inclusive, and high-performing workplace experience across the organization.

This position requires demonstrated experience managing direct reports, along with a hands-on approach and direct accountability for executing key program deliverables. The role partners cross-functionally with Real Estate/Office Managers, and including Wellbeing, Recognition, and Belonging teams across the U.S., EMEA, and APJ regions, supporting up to 20 global sites. Flexibility to support global time zones through periodic virtual sessions is required.

This role will also play a key part in bringing Proofpoint's BRAVE values to life by embedding them into programs, initiatives, and the overall employee experience

This role requires an onsite presence at our Sunnyvale office four days per week and includes a lunch stipend along with opportunities toparticipatein onsite events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and optimize the end-to-end employee experience lifecycle, including employee engagement with events, access to remote and in-person experiences, and Employee amenities.
  • Lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of employee experience programs and initiatives.
  • Manage and develop a small team, providing coaching, guidance, and performance oversight.
  • Personally execute key program components, ensuring high-quality delivery and consistency.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Real Estate/Office Managers and global stakeholders to support up to 20 sites across multiple regions.
  • Design and implement employee engagement initiatives and feedback surveys and mechanisms to measure success.
  • Analyze employee feedback and people data to identify trends and drive actionable improvements.
  • Lead initiatives that strengthen culture and inclusion while supporting wellbeing and employee connection.
  • Integrate and reinforce Proofpoint's BRAVE values across employee programs and experiences.
  • Oversee program logistics, budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships.
  • Improve internal communication strategies to enhance transparency and engagement.
  • Support change management initiatives to ensure effective adoption and employee alignment.
  • Plan and execute employee events and workplace experience programs (virtual and in-person).
  • Benchmark industry best practices and continuously innovate to improve employee satisfaction and productivity.
  • Facilitate virtual meetings and global programs across time zones on a monthly or quarterly basis.
QualificationsEducation
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field preferred.
Experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in employee program management, employee experience, HR, employee wellbeing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years proven experience managing direct reports, including coaching, performance management, and team development.
  • Demonstrated success managing and executing large-scale programs and events.
  • Experience working cross-functionally in global, multicultural, and multigenerational environments.
  • Experience partnering with Real Estate, Workplace, or Office Management teams is a plus.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets as set out below. The range provided may represent a candidate range and may not reflect the full range for an individual tenured employee. This role may be eligible for variable compensation and/or equity. We offer a competitive benefits package, including flexible time off, a comprehensive well-being program with two paid Wellbeing Days and two paid Volunteer Days per year, plus a three-week Work from Anywhere option.

Base Pay Range: 123,200.00 - 193,600.00 USD

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:

Base Pay Range: 102,300.00 - 160,820.00 USD

All other cities and states excluding those listed above:

Base Pay Range: 92,100.00 - 144,705.00 USD
