The ideal candidate will have: strong client-facing interpersonal skills to discover and evaluate business needs; a deep understanding of B2B payment ecosystem, API-based products/services, and AP/AR business processes; and strong leadership skills to drive cross-functional teams towards shared vision and goals.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Key Initiatives

  • Define and execute the product strategy for the B2B payments platform, with a focus on API integration, security, scalability, and user experience.

  • Create product solutions based on opportunities prioritized by the Product Advisory Council; ensure solutions are aligned with business objectives, market trends, and customer needs.

  • Lead market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to inform product decisions and identify new opportunities for growth.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, sales, customer success, marketing, etc.) to define and prioritize product requirements.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for external partners and customers, ensuring their needs are addressed and incorporated into the product vision.

  • Communicate product vision, progress, and challenges clearly to executive leadership and other stakeholders.

Product Development & Execution

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and concept development to product launch and post-launch improvements.

  • Ensure the product adheres to industry regulations, compliance standards, and security protocols.

API Management

  • Design and manage robust, scalable, and developer-friendly APIs that enable seamless integration with customers' systems.

  • Monitor API performance, usability, and security, continuously improving the developer experience and reducing time-to-market for integrations.

  • Foster an ecosystem of third-party developers and partners by creating clear API documentation, SDKs, and support resources.

Metrics & Performance

  • Define, track, and analyze key product metrics, including API usage, transaction volumes, customer satisfaction, and product profitability.

  • Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement, refine product offerings, and make informed decisions about product direction.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of managing complex B2B products, particularly within financial services, payments, or enterprise software.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data and make data-driven decisions.

Education
