Technical Supervisor: Lead the Team Powering Weapon Systems & Range Operations!
Are you a technical expert ready to step into a vital leadership role at the intersection of engineering and national defense? We are seeking a First-Level Supervisor with a strong background in electronics engineering or computer science to lead a high-performing team of innovators.
In this critical position, you will combine your technical mastery with project management and operational leadership. Your team will be responsible for delivering state-of-the-art hardware and software solutions that directly support the warfighter, increase weapon system capabilities, and secure our range launch and safety operations.
Your Leadership Mission: As a hands-on technical supervisor, you will lead from the front, taking full operational responsibility for your assigned area. Your mission will focus on three key pillars:
- Lead and Mentor Innovators: Exercise first-level supervisory authority over a talented team of engineers and computer scientists. You will distribute workload, coach performance, and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Drive Weapon System Readiness: Oversee the development and execution of advanced hardware and software solutions. Your team's work will directly enable the warfighter to maintain readiness, optimize performance, and make critical decisions using sophisticated systems and data.
- Secure Range Launch and Safety: Manage the delivery of superior software engineering maintenance and support for high-visibility range launches and safety operations, ensuring that every launch is executed with absolute precision and safety.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Obtain & maintain an appropriate security clearance
- This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.

Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
1. Professional knowledge of electronics engineering and computer science concepts, theories, principles, and practices and working knowledge of other disciplines, such as aerospace, industrial, mechanical, and/or electrical engineering; of a broad range of engineering standards, precedents, methods, and techniques to ensure work in compliance with regulations and standards; and the applicability of such knowledge to the full range of duties concerned with design, production, and maintenance of Operational Flight Programs, Automated Test Systems, Test Program Set Software, and other systems used to support the warfighter and weapons systems program offices.
2. Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.
3. Knowledge of standard contracting regulations, practices, and procedures.
4. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of a small to medium sized organization.
5. Knowledge of budgeting, procurement, standard configuration and finding regulations, practices and processes related to system acquisition and sustainment management functions.
