Vishay is currently seeking applicants forMES Super Key User - Critical Manufacturing,with flexible location across North Americas: Juarez Mexico / Yankton SD USA / Columbus NEUSA , to support and drive excellence across our North American operations. This role acts as the central point of expertise for MES-related topics, ensuring system stability, continuous improvement, and successful deployment of new functionalities and projects.
What you will be doing:
The central objective of the MES/CMF Roll-out Program is to deploy the Critical Manufacturing system (CMF) and best use of it to all Vishay production sites. It will bring standardization, harmonization, automation, and innovation to the many production sites which is in line with Vishay's vision, mission and strategy as defined by the Top-Management.-
    • Provide first-level support for local and regional CM Key Users
    • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate escalation when required
    • Ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the MES system
    • Support the extension and enhancement of MES (Critical Manufacturing) functional modules
    • Identify improvement opportunities in manufacturing processes and system usage
    • Collaborate with global and regional teams to implement enhancements
    • Train shopfloor users, engineers, and key users on MES functionalities
    • Develop training materials and ensure knowledge transfer across sites
    • Drive adoption and best practices in MES utilization
    • Lead and support migrations from legacy MES systems to Critical Manufacturing
    • Ensure standardized processes and data integrity during transitions
    • Coordinate with project teams, IT, and business stakeholders
    • Support system upgrades, new releases, and global MES initiatives
    • Participate in testing (UAT), validation, and deployment activities
    • Ensure minimal disruption to production during system changes
What you will bring along:
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Manufacturing, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant manufacturing systems experience may be considered.
Experience
  • Minimum3 years of experience as a Critical Manufacturing (CMF) Key Useror similar MES support role.
  • Experience supporting MES implementation and user support, includes deployment, configuration, testing, troubleshooting
  • Experience working within semiconductor, electronics, or high-volume manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Experience supporting production operations and manufacturing process improvements.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing system integrations and data flows.
  • Experience withSAP MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning), and ME (Manufacturing Execution)modules is highly desirable.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing environments.
  • Experience participating in global digital transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing automation, Industry 4.0, or Smart Factory concepts.
  • Experienceworking in multi-site, global manufacturing organizations.
  • Project management or change management experience is an advantage.
