Data Entry & Document Scanning Clerk - Onsite Dallas, TX
This position requires an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance to be considered.
A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify.
The Data Entry & Document Scanning Clerk is responsible for accurately processing, scanning, and entering data from physical documents into digital systems while maintaining high standards of quality and production. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to established procedures, and the ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace in a production-oriented environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Estimated Starting Salary Range for Data Entry & Document Scanning Clerk: $17.08 - $17.58/hour - dependent on shift
  • Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
  • Eligible for SCA pay of up to an additional $5.09/hr (if benefits are declined and you have alternative qualified coverage)

Two shifts available:
  • 1st Shift 6:30am-3:00pm - $17.08/hour
  • 2nd shift 3:30pm-12:00am - -$17.58/hour

Data Entry & Document Scanning Clerk Responsibilities Include:
  • Identify the type of form and apply the appropriate business rules.
  • Prepare and scan documents for digital processing.
  • Conduct quality control checks on digital images to ensure accuracy.
  • Review scanned images and input data from forms into the appropriate fields in multiple software applications.
  • Verify and check data for accuracy prior to final submission.
  • Follow production procedures and maintain internal documentation and tracking.
  • Index key data into multiple software systems.
  • Print Document Control Sheets for all records as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with Imaging Center guidelines.
  • Meet production rates while ensuring quality standards are maintained.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Data Entry & Document Scanning Clerk Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Familiarity with PCs and other computer-related products.
  • Data entry speed of โ‰ฅ40 wpm/10,000 KPH with 99% accuracy.
  • Administrative experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to sustain a consistent work pace to meet production targets.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
