Role Summary
As a Distribution Business Manager, you are the strategic leader of your assigned territory, responsible for driving NXP's growth through our distribution partners. You will maintain intimate knowledge of significant accounts and prioritize your territory growth plan accordingly. This includes partnering closely with distribution resources to achieve results in revenue growth, funnel development, design win acceleration, and customer expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and execute territory growth strategies aligned with NXP's Intelligent Edge vision, driving market share and customer expansion.

  • Forge strong partnerships with distribution leaders, conducting Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with branch General Managers to ensure alignment and performance.

  • Develop joint business plans with distribution partners, integrating demand creation initiatives, targeted seminars, and tailored engagement strategies to accelerate design wins and market penetration.

  • Deliver a consistent training cadence for distribution teams, covering NPIs and NXP solutions tailored to local market needs to strengthen technical expertise (FAEs) and sales effectiveness (FSRs).

  • Lead execution of local and corporate-driven marketing campaigns in collaboration with distribution partners to amplify NXP's presence and generate measurable funnel growth.

  • Perform regular funnel reviews, capture critical actions, and drive follow-up on must-win opportunities to ensure pipeline health and conversion.

  • Engage in joint customer visits with distribution personnel to advance strategic opportunities and expand account relationships.

  • Serve as the escalation point for technical and commercial issues, coordinating with product lines and field resources to resolve challenges quickly.

  • Drive internal alignment across NXP stakeholders, ensuring responsiveness, technical support, and seamless execution for channel success.

Qualifications
  • BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.

  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales quotas.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in semiconductor technical sales, distribution management, or field applications engineering.

  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to stay current with evolving technologies (processing, connectivity, analog).

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Willingness to travel (primarily domestic).

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with distribution management and QBR processes.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools, funnel management, and opportunity review best practices.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and distribution stakeholders.
