Job description

Summary: Distribution Management is seeking Forklift Operators to handle tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, moving materials to assigned locations and backstock areas as well as performing inventory replenishment to assist the operation in completing orders quickly and accurately. Candidates should have stable warehouse experience, maintain excellent punctuality, and have knowledge of basic RF scanners. Distribution Management is a national fulfillment and distribution provider with five distribution centers and has immediate openings for Forklift Operators.
Shift Information:
  • A Shift: Sunday-Wednesday, 8:00 AM-6:30 PM
  • B Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 11:00 AM-9:30 PM
  • C Shift: Wednesday-Saturday, 8:00 AM-6:30 PM
  • Z Shift: Monday - Friday 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Monday -Friday 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Responsibilities Include:
  • Safely operates a forklift to move, stack and transport materials and products.
  • Load and unload trailers and containers.
  • Move and organize materials within the warehouse or storage areas.
  • Assist with inventory control by verifying and documenting materials received and shipped.
  • Ensure loads are properly secured, perform daily safety checks on the forklift, and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials moved and inventory transactions.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Stable and steady work history in a distribution center or warehouse.
  • Punctual with good attendance.
  • Takes an active interest in meeting the needs of the business as communicated by supervisors and managers.
  • Basic knowledge of RF scanners.
